So we had a surprise birthday party for Gretchen today. Only ... it wasn't so much of a surprise for a variety of reasons. In any case, it's the thought that counts plus we still had fun even with less of a surprise. SO, it was good.

This reminds me of a surprise birthday party my aunt was thrown at my house. My father had to force her in the house because she wanted to rush off to get back home to go to church. She comes in, we yell surprise, and she goes, "well, I guess I can skip church today." It was funny.

I've never had a surprise birthday party thrown for me ... I'd probably crap my pants anyway and then would have to change. That'd be embarassing now wouldn't it?

Back to today's party though. We had cookies, shrimp (which few ate), pizza, and such. We watched some of Napoleon Dynamite and all of Robin Williams Live on Broadway. First time viewers had the same experience as I had ... cramped abs from laughing so much. It's a great feeling though I must say.

I'm still lost though.

In any case, so other than that I did pretty much nothing today except enjoying my day at home doing nothing.
