Can you still remember exactly where you were on September 11th 2001? Something so strong puts an impact on all of us. A day you'll never forget. A day where innocent people lost their lives, their families, their friends, and all hope. Whether it was losing their life on a plane, on the floors the planes crashed into, in all the debris and smoke, or the downfall.

~I can remember waking up in the morning to get ready for class (I was a freshman in college). I walked out to say good morning to my mother and she said to me, "did you hear? New York was attacked." My initial thought was, "what country would be dumb enough to attack us." Surely enough, it wasn't a country, but Osama Bin Laden. Joy and rapture. Either way, I remember going through a series of emotions not all of which made sense. I remember listening to the radio for days and weeks afterwards and hearing nothing but people talking about the incident, about who was there, who lost someone ... hearing accounts of the incident. It was unreal. Along with that, I remember looking up in the skies and seeing not a plane in sight. It is intense to realize how easy this country can be shut down. An attack on your home turf hits a lot harder than seeing it happen overseas and going, "oh, we should send them aid." By the way, I went to class that day and my professor had just found out the news before class started ... she could not compose herself and she dismissed class.
