OK guys. Big news here. Not as big as if I had a new job but pretty big. I am about to change :: drum roll please :: ... my favorite movie!

Gasp! I know. I know. You're all thinking, "how can he do that now?" "WHY NOW?!" Well, let me tell ya. It took a lot of thought and feeling, assessing my previous favorite and my new favorite.

What was my old favorite? Well, first a little history. As a kid, my first favorite movie was Aladdin. It's still fantastic but I've outgrown it to think it my favorite movie. 1996 rolled around and Tom Hanks decided to direct a movie called "That Thing You Do." It was great. I loved it. It became my favorite. A few years pass and there is a gray area for "favorite movie." I like this movie from there and this movie from there ... tough decisions for a while. Finally, I settled on Back to the Future (you guys are laughing I hear you). I just think Back to the Future is a great humorous 80s film. If Michael J. Fox was still healthy and doing movies frequently, he may be a favorite of mine. In any case, that was my favorite of late because I just love the whole nostalgia thing. However, there is another movie that has tapped that section of me and is just a great great (and underrated) film. Ladies and Gentlemen, the new favorite movie of ... me ... is .........

Cinderella Man!

The crowd is cheering, I can hear them. The movie just hits so many different sweet spots it is hard to describe. I cannot believe how poorly it did in the box office and I don't really understand why either. It was great. I loved it. I was never bored. Never wondering where the time went. I left wanting to be an inspiration myself. I know some of my friends disagree and found it boring and whatnot but I just cannot get over how good I find this film. If it wasn't 3am, I'd pop it on right now. I know many of you are surprised that I didn't say Superman Returns was my new favorite but alas, it was good but not as good as Batman Begins or Cinderella Man.

Thank you, you may now go about the rest of your lives. :-)
