Isn't it strange how you think about someone when they've just passed away? Even if you've had little contact with them, you still reflect on this after hearing that they are no longer living. Someone from my church had AIDS and recently developed cancer as a result of the AIDS. He passed away earlier this morning. We had heard in church yesterday that he had taken a turn for the worst but it still is sad to hear about someone passing.
In reflection of his life, you may notice a fence in my back yard. It is used to block our new neighbors back there from wandering on our property. Rich (the guy I am talking about) built that fence last year. One year later ...... it's really shocking how much can change in a year. We all plan to be here one year later but we really don't know what will happen, do we?
Please pray for Rich's family as they go through this trying time. Rich's mother passed away a few days ago and have a funeral set for Tuesday for her. Planning a second funeral was probably the last thing they wanted to do.
In other news, I had three employees I could schedule on Saturday. Three ... so we're going to be short staffed even with the one person working a double. It better not be busy. John needs to hire people as soon as possible.
I have orientation next week. I still know very little about it so it should be quite eventful ... wee.
Well that's all I have for today. Enjoy your day.
