My birthday is really close now. Pretty exciting except that turning 22 has no effect on anything anywhere. Ah well, birthdays still excite me so just leave me be. :-) I fear the time when it will no longer be a welcome day -- the day I turn a year older.

I saw War of the Worlds last night. The scenery was quite cool and overall they did a good job. However, I think the movie is a once and done and there were a few continuity issues that were tough to overlook. Spielberg has been in the business long enough to know how to check for those things. If you have an EMP blast, don't have a camcorder! Ah well, maybe I'm just picky. It's a decent film and worth the watch but I think Spielberg may be losing his touch for the sci-fi epic films.

So what else is there to talk about. Hmm. I don't know really. Dan is getting me The Incredibles for my birthday. That's pretty cool of him. Emily is getting me some unknown DVD from my list. Also quite cool.

Ah, my supposed party that I should be planning. I'm not really sure what the plan is thus far but John had mentioned that he would like to have a party the same day as myself and we could have a joint party or something. That could be fun except I don't know his friends and he doesn't know mine. I guess we'd learn who they are quite quickly.

So ... I suppose that's all I have. Oh, for our favorite Alaskan. I just wanted to mention that Keyhole is now "Google Earth Plus," and is new and improved over the original. OK, that's all now. Bye!
