So we got some bad news today. Some gentleman from Child Welfare Services came today unannounced and assessed our conditions in our home for our daycare we have. Evidently someone complained since we are unlicensed but to be licensed we need to:
1. Build a kitchen downstairs
2. Lower our child limit to 3 children
3. Make sure all doors are unlocked at all times (sliding glass door was the only one locked ... they freaked).

Essentially, we cannot afford to do that because building a kitchen requires money and limiting us to 3 children makes money more difficult. Therefore, if the report comes back that we are not allowed to have a daycare any longer, my mother is going to have to go find a job since my father is unable to work.

Very sad. We love those kids too. Why do people feel they need to complain about something that doesn't affect them? The parents had no problem with it, we have never had a problem before, why is there an issue that it needed to be reported?

Anyway, on a more happier note, I went to Parkland today to meet with my co-operating teacher for October 24th to December. He seems to be a good guy so I think we shall get along just fine. I am still waiting for my first placement though. They have yet to give me one. Could be a problem if they don't tell me who it is soon since school is over in a month.

I am theoretically hanging out with Tiff today and then going to see Chris M.'s play that he directed. It's two or three dollars so feel free to go to Central Catholic High and watch!

Star Wars opens soon. I am excited a lot. Very excited actually. I'm not sure "excited a lot" is not the proper way to express my thrill since that would suggest I am excited multiple times rather than in abundance. Ah well, I don't think you readers care anyway.
