Well it's definitely time for an update but I am unsure what to say about this update. Life continues to be mediocre as I plod along towards my new spankin' semester. Yeah, I said it: new spankin' semester.

What does this semester have in store for me? Well I spent 303 dollars on school books ... so clearly it has debt in store for me. Aside from that, I really have no idea. I'm a bit nervous for this semester but yet looking forward to it. I dunno.

So I sneezed. This is somewhat unusual for me and I fear that one of the sick weenies from work gave it to me. Probably Renee ... she's always sharing and I just don't want it. Gah. Last thing I need ... getting sick in time for the new semester. Bah to all!

So I'm actually kind of tired. This is a surprise since I've been staying up until 4am or so. I took a shower already so all I really have to do is "hit the hay." Craziness, I know.

Poor Dave ... he's having sleep issues. I've offered suggestions but I do not know if they will work for him. It's like when you have the hiccups, no cure works for two people. Very strange how everyone comes up with their own method for curing the hiccups. My theory is it's all mental anyway so just tell them to stop and be done with them.

So Gretchen and I have confirmed our hatred for each other. Woot. (yes, woot)

Dave made a silly comment on Megan's xanga about her photo being sexy. I was like, "psh, duh!" ;-)

So winter storm warning is a threat until 6am. I must say ... if it was 10 degrees colder this week, we'd have seen the worse snow storm in a LONG time. It just keeps coming (the rain) but the warmer air prevents freezing except for tonight (theoretically). I do not know if it will freeze up but I'll say "I hope so" for the sake of our high school friends who want to have off badly.

I don't want to do inventory anymore at work. I'm just tired of it. We get new workers, my inventory goes off the charts until they learn NOT to throw away product but to put it in spoilage. Then my spoilage goes off the chart until they learn to rinse and reuse when possible. Just when we get that solved ... another new employee comes along to muck things up. :: sighs ::

I got my raise though! Perfect review and 5% raise. :: drools ::

So I read that Garfield has been removed from the Washington Post. To be honest, I used to enjoy the comic but am finding myself less and less entertained by them as I read them. I'm not sure what it is. Whatever happened to the days of "Peanuts" where they were just entertaining for all ages all the time? :: shakes head ::

In any case, it's almost 3am so I best be off to do something else until I feel like going to sleep. Have a good evening.
