I got invited to the 25 hottest guys in KU group on thefacebook.com. What does this say about the rest of the guys there? ;-)

I went to class. I'm home now. Megan's at work learning to be a manager. I picked up pizza for the kids. The day is pretty steady thus far.

That's all for now.

P.S. Thanks SO much to everyone who commented. It means a lot.

P.P.S. I'm not actually done posting yet.

So I was reflecting on high school and I realize I don't give enough credit where it's due. I need to thank Jared and Chris specifically at this point for their efforts at making sure I survived high school.

Two stories for you. I know you all love my stories so I'll be sure to tell them really well. Story one. Freshman year I had wood shop and I was in class with Jared and a bunch of "macho" men. Most of them were in my grade and what not. Anyway, one day I was in class and it was getting close to when the bell was to ring signaling the end of the day. I'm standing there talking to Jared when from behind me comes someone with a 3-hole punch. Now, those that haven't been picked on before. 3-hole punches usually come with a lot of paper dots. Needless to say, those dots wound up on my head. Now, this wasn't a big deal for me. It's not like it caused any physical harm to me or anything so I just shrugged it off. On the other hand, Jared went out of his way to tell them they need to knock it off. It was very meaningful to me even though it was a simple thing that most real friends would probably do in that situation.

OK, story 2. I was sitting in my Physical Science class freshman year. Chris sat next to me and the table behind me had Dan A. and another guy. One day, Dan had forgotten to do his homework and so he asked for mine. Being that I didn't care for him too much, I said no. He walked around and grabbed my homework out of my hands and then walked back to his seat. When he turned around, I took his pencil. So he turns back around and has my homework and he realizes he has no pencil. He's looking around for it and I keep glancing back at him while Chris is laughing at him. He then realizes I took his pencil and demands I return it to him. I demanded I receive my homework back in exchange for his pencil. He clearly did not like the trading idea so he walked around and tried to take the pencil from my hand. I refused to let go of it until he let go of the homework that he had in his hand. We struggled for a second or two and then he punched me clear across the face, right in my jaw. Now under most circumstances, that would have probably led to a fight of sorts but I'm an extremely passive guy so I just smiled and said, "I got my homework back!" Karla was at the table next to me and she saw it and yelled at Dan and Chris asked if I was OK. Here's where the fun part comes. After class, Chris was in the hall and Dan knocked the books from his hands. Chris takes Dan (who is a small guy) and jacks him against the lockers telling him to stop being a so and so. After that, he left the two of us alone except for making fun of my head. Of course, that's funny in itself since he measured his head the thin way and then compared it to the long way of my head. MORON. You bet.

Well that's my story telling for today. It may not be exactly as it went (to the T) but it was 7 years ago or so ... intricate details may be messed up over time.

OK, now I'm really done. Have a good one.

ahhh... Dan A... I hated that kid. he was mean to me, too. oh well, he probably has no friends now, and we've grown from our experiences. and we are awesome people :)

PS. I would've also left you a comment the other day, but I was slacking on my blog reading and didn't see it till now. <3 you!
