Went to Chris's party. Had a good time. Trying to get Mike to be less of a sissy and get a girl's number. :-)
It's official though -- I'm not as good at bowling as I would like to be. Can't be good if you don't go though, right?
Ah well.
In any case, I am listening to classical music and need more suggestions of good pieces to check out. Anyone with suggestions please comment.
Going to West Chester tomorrow with Gretch to meet her man. Sadly, Michelle will not be joining us but I can't have my cake and eat it too, right? Absurd saying by the way ...
In any case, I'm done. Cya later.

My favorite classical song would be Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.
Composers to look into...
More known: Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Handel
Less recognized: Vivaldi, Teleman(renissance)
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. It's hard to give advice on who to look into/listen to. Classical music can be divided up to a bunch of different genres all on it's own. WHat one likes... another could hate. Anyways, hope that helps.
hey chuck,
its maggie.
take it from a music major...:)
it all depends what you're into. my guess is you would appreciate more romantic than modern classical. maybe neoromantic.
i would check out samuel barber (his adagio for strings is AMAZING), and gustav mahler's second symphony (my favorite symphony).
if you want more 'progressive classical', i would check out bela bartok or igor stravinsky. maybe stravinsky's "the rites of spring" would be nice. both composers are from the early half of the 20th century. ooh, also check out aaron copland.
if you want some classical music that will make you go "wha??" check out anton webern. i really like his stuff, but its hard to understand the first few times around (esp if you're not a music major :)
anyways, happy listening!
