Life is just not always easy. Some things seem right at first and you then look at it from a distance and go, "hmm ... something isn't right." Some are better at fixing these problems and others are more for letting it run its course. Unfortunately, the latter usually results in failure and hurtfulness. As a result, those in the prior category should pat yourselves on the back. I applaud you.
What's this all about? Some may venture to guess but I'm backing away. Let's just say I'm not as strong as some and slide into that latter category. No something hasn't happened to me and I may be able to shift gears in the future. Just stating for those that may have a clue what I'm talking about. Alas, that may only be one person though.
This weekend is going well. Work was really busy. I'd emphasize "really" but it would not serve it justice.
Black River has a sign labeling it on Old Phily Pike. Thank goodness for that ... such a big river and all. :: rolls eyes :: (those that don't know black river, it's a creek).
So I haven't blogged in 2 days or so. Surprised me that it was that long ago ... usually I'm more on top of my game than that. I am still procrastinating on my papers (big surprise there). They'll get done, I have faith. I'm less stressed about them now than before. I don't remember if I said it but my professor pushed it back to Monday after Thanksgiving. More time? You bet! I'm just waiting for him to say, "I've decided I just won't have time to read the papers so don't bother turning them in." He doesn't hand back stuff for over a month in some cases. That's the main reason he keeps pushing back the due date. He just doesn't have time to read them. What in the WORLD he is doing, I'll never know. Ah well.
So ... yeah, I had some good Edy's Ice Cream tonight. Also had some good Bistro food. I bought an actual expensive entry and it was quite tasty. 20 bucks down the drain but it was a great dish to say the least. Nicely done. No discount though :-( It's OK, I don't expect a discount when not working or even when working ... the fact that I get one is a kind gesture.
The Lions club had a stand open today selling hot dogs. 75 cents a pop so Jason and I got 5 hot dogs (combined). They were decent but for 1.50 what do you expect? :-)
Did I mention work was busy? We couldn't even pop popcorn to keep up with the demand. Both warmers would get sold out and then we'd be popping desperately to keep selling the corn. Ridiculous what Spongebob does to a normally quiet morning ... OH NO! I have to do it again tomorrow (today). Ahahahahaha.
I have to go to work at 10 tomorrow (today) ... supposed to be in at 11 but I have to do inventory now evidently since John will not have time to do it tonight and Jeff is ill. We should just not do it ... one night won't kill us considering we usually get away with a whole week of not doing it without a problem. Psh.
Well I'm all done. Have a good night.

Please write your papers. The suspense is murder.
I'd say that life is almost never easy. i note that you're hard on yourself- good. A man should be I think.
Having been thouroughly lost in Pennsylvania once, I can only point out that you're lucky to have any signage at all. I was almos in tears looking for a house number, a road sign, anything in Mechanicsburg a few years back.
I note with amusement your paeans to varioius foods, chocolate, garlic, Oreoes, ice cream. Sure you're not going into the wrong line of work? Maybe a Chef specailizing in historic recipies could be an alternative? :-)
thankyou chuck. thankyou for everything you do.
i still hate you though
