Laura is feeling "pukey" in her words. Feel better, Laura!
I believe in turn-based IMing. This means that, for instance, I do not always IM the person but they IM me first. You know? Turn based. If they IMed me first last time, I IM them first this time. Now, this is not an alternating process so much as a "eh, I'll see if they IM me ever" type of thing. In many cases, I do get IMs from people periodically but there are a few that will never seem to IM me. Does this mean they do not wish to talk to me? Maybe. Either that or they have nothing to say. Who could ever have nothing to say to me? I don't know. In any case, this is my IM belief system. On that same note, I get IMed by someone all the time and I never IM them first. Why? I don't really want to talk to them but I will do it courteously if they IM me first. This is actually only in one case and it's with an annoying girl I've known on the internet for too long. There are a few others that I usually don't IM and in those instances it's because I really don't know what to talk about but they usually IM me quickly anyway. Yeah, this is a long paragraph but it jumped in my mind while I was showering so I thought I'd jot it down.
I really have to get started on the research for my papers. Eww. I am such a procrastinator :-[
If anyone knows who SGARDEN14 is (on AIM) please let me know. They IMed me and then said I was no fun evidently because I was sleeping instead of replying to their IM (since they were not on my buddy list, they do not get an away message reply, which I don't like but what can be done?)
Anyway, I'm going to go to sleep now. Everyone have a good evening. Meeting at 10am! fun fun!
