I'm blogging and then going to sleep. I did as little as possible today in an effort to preserve my last day of freedom. Sadly, it still flew by.

Tomorrow I start my first day of classes. Actually ... it's just one class but it's 1 1/2 hours long, much like the block scheduling of high school. I'm not used to these 1 1/2 hour long sessions anymore though since I have been out of HS for 3 years ...

The professor I am not typically fond of. He's a bit arrogant for me although he definitely knows his stuff. I only hope I can be more successful than my previous class with him. That would be good.

So what did I do today? Well ... besides nothing important, I went to the gym with Brad, then hung at his house for a few hours. Laura suggested dinner and I agreed but other issues arose that made it ultimately impossible. Fortunately everything worked out there. Instead, I ate food at Brad's which was tasty. Then, Jared arrived and we played games. Shortly thereafter, Chris arrived and we continued to play games. Just a fun night. Then ... watched wrestling (something I rarely do) and then I went home.

Fun day? Sure, but my last day of freedom nevertheless. I'm glad I had off of work so I could enjoy it to the fullest. :-)

To think that in 1 1/2 years I will be graduating college (assuming there are no other wrenches being thrown at me by monkeys) and will be ready to start real life. :: shakes :: Sadly, in 1 year most of the people I came to know at work this past year will be leaving and going to college. It'll be the second exodus I've had to deal with ... friends leaving and all. I guess I should get used to it since kids will be doing that when I am teaching them. I'll get used to seeing them around and then poof, they'll be gone.

So the lightning storm flickered the power enough to restart my computer. I came home to find that AIM was on but my away message was gone. People were like, "oo, you're idle" yes, not my decision ... nothing I could do.

I hope I do well in school this year. I want to try to do better but I know I'll get into the thick of it and not be able to focus as much as I should. Oye.

Driving to school tomorrow (today) is going to be a party and a half. There is construction on 78, which will back me up quite a bit. I'm going to give myself an hour to get to class. I'll also take route 100 instead of 78 all the way down in an attempt to avoid the garbage. Hope it works!

I think I'm done. My dry humor needs a break and ... I don't even know if there is any humor in this post. Hmm ... nope, I got nothing. Oh well.

To Laura and Angel Bear Kiss, you're both right. It's a bad time to read my blog ... I appear to be popular among school-age and working folk. :-) Night!
